About Me
I am Mayusree, a Prime Minister's Research Fellow at the Joint Astronomy Programme, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science, driven by a passion for discovery in astronomy and astrophysics.
My research delves into the physics of exotic magnetized compact stars—focusing on the internal magnetic field structure and its evolution (in binary or accreting systems)—and their potential detectability through continuous gravitational waves. I also study high-temperature superconductivity in neutron stars, exploring its impact on internal magnetism and the resulting gravitational wave signatures.
